• Hi, my name is Pauline Brungar.
• My passion for photography, animals and the outdoors has always determined my life's journey.
• My nickname of Ms MacGyver gives a clue to the creativity I use to make something out of nothing, which is useful in photography and design.
• My passion for photography and desire to explore my creative side led me to study towards a degree in Applied Visual Imaging, which I completed in 2013.
• All design work, logos and photographic layouts are created in-house. I do my own photo-editing and retouching, ensuring each image is the best it can be.
• Designz Photography is the name chosen for our business, as we believe it embraces the total creative process. The nz in Designz represents my passion for New Zealand and it's beauty, while the green font was chosen to reflect the cleanliness and purity of NZ flora, and links to my Irish ancestry. The aim of my work is to capture the souls of animals and their human companions, keeping them alive forever in our hearts. My latest work about the Manawatu is a visual story of culture and identity linked together by geographical and historical facts. It is a visit to the past, but also a pictorial record as of now. My other interest in social awareness inspires me to create imagery at a personal level, and as time allows, I am putting together a few images exploring this further.
